Forskolin

Coleus forskohlii · 7β-acetoxy-8,13-epoxy-1α,6β,9α-trihydroxylabd-14-en-11-one

The study people still quote is Godard 2005: 250 mg of 10% forskolin twice daily in a small sample of overweight men. Replication is weak. If a label lists Coleus extract without milligrams, the dose-fit is unknowable — which we score as a fail, not a maybe.

Study-dose band
250 mg of 10% forskolin, twice daily (500 mg extract/day)
Typical bottle
Often undisclosed; sometimes 100–250 mg of a 10% extract, once daily

Questions

If the box says 10% forskolin, is that a study dose?

Only if the extract weight is in the Godard range — about 500 mg/day of that 10% extract. A percentage without milligrams is marketing.
